Joe Marek's Robert E. Howard Page - One of
the leading Howard scholars today, Joe's website is an excellent source
for the Howard scholar. Too much material to describe here; you'll have

Robert E. Howard United Press Association (REHUPA) - Official REHUPA web page, provides details on the organization and samples of their mailings. Also includes material about Howard compiled by some of the leading Howard experts. A must visit for the serious Howard scholar. Website REH Inner Circle - A mailing list started by Howard scholar Dennis McHaney. Emphasis on but not limited to the writing of Robert E. Howard. Many current Howard scholars subscribe and post here. Dennis has been making available several public domain texts of Howard material from his pulp appearances. Website The Dark Man Online - The Journal of Robert E. Howard Studies.Online site by Frank Coffman, reviving the Howard studies journal previously edited by Rusty Burke. Planned is semi-annual publication with subscription rates. Future issues will be archived electronically on the site. Electronic archiving of editions #1-4 is currently being negotiated Website The Barbarian Keep - An excellent collection of material about Howard and his works. Also has some material about real barbarians. Website Robert E. Howard Archive - An archive of poetry, letters, and essays written by Howard. Also has some review material of The Whole Wide World, the movie based on One Who Walked Alone. Website Heroes of Dark Fantasy - Nicely done fan site emphasizing several of the major characters in the genre of heroic fantasy. Has material on both Conan and Kull. Website Robert E. Howard mailing list on Xenite.Org - A mailing list of issues concerning Howard and issues surrounding him. Many current Howard scholars subscribe and post here. Howard Library of Classics, the website is primarily a promotional device for the books but some interviews with the principals involved in creation of the books and some sketches by Frazetta are available. EBAY Internet Auction: Largest internet auction site. Always dozens if not hundreds of Howard related pieces. Everything from the newest items to the most expensive rarities. Can't recommend it enough for hard-to-find stuff but be prepared to pay a premium price.There are a number of used book dealers who now do a large quantity of business through eBay. Weird Tales - The Unique Magazine - Very nice website covering Weird Tales. Website The Locus Index to Science Fiction (1984-1998) - Site which provides content information about science fiction anthologies. Some Howard is listed. CD bibliographies are available. Of special interest is the Science Fiction, Fantasy, & Weird Fiction Magazine Index (1890-1999). Extremely valuable resource for the Howard scholar.
